Yahoo! To offer online poker

This Thursday, Yahoo! announced that they will launch their own Real money online poker room. The site is a partnership between the and St.Minver Ltd. a gaming group registered in Gibraltar. Their poker room will be a part of the International Poker Network.

 

With Yahoo!'s userbase, they can for sure make a BIG impact on the online poker world. They can quickly become a huge player in the online poker business.

 

 Many big players have been starting to develop pokergames, AOL runs online poker (only playmoney), Windows Vista have got a play-money game and soon we will probably see something from Google.

 

Maybe they are all planning on hitting the real-money area and only using the play-money to make users interested.
