Omaha
Omaha is a variant of Texas Hold’em with some slight modifications. Instead of getting two face-down cards, all players are dealt four.
Preflop
Each person is dealt four cards face down and the person after the big blind starts the betting. After everybody has placed their bet/call/raise/fold the next round follows.
Flop
Three cards are dealt to the middle of the table (the flop). These cards can be used by all players who are in the pot to complete their pokerhand. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts betting.
Turn
A fourth card is dealt to the middle of the table, making it a total of four cards that all players can use, called the turn. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts again.
River
A fifth card is dealt to the middle of the table, making it a total of five cards that all players can use, called the river. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts betting.
Showdown
The players who are left after the last round of betting show their cards in order from the one who laid the bet first. You must use two of your face-down cards and the three of the cards on the table to create the best pokerhand, consisting of 5 cards total.
